Made You Blush Shoot
made you blush shoot
Hello lovely subjects, thank you so much for agreeing to be photographed for Made You Blush! We have put together this information page to make the process a little easier for you. Please fill in this quick form:
When and where is the shoot?
The shoot is taking place at The Cowork Co, a beautiful space at 421 Lygon Street, Brunswick East (make sure you don't go to Carlton!), on Sunday 10th April.
What time is my shoot?
Who will be there?
Julz: our fabulous hair and make up artist. You can check out her stuff on her Instagram page.
Bree: our photographer. You can check out her stuff on her website. Bree's phone number is 0406 698 957.
Ally: our amazing designer and styling guru. You can check out her stuff on the Lady Scout website. Ally's phone number is 0401 177 191.
How will the shoot run?
Julz will pamper and fuss over you for an hour, making you look like a total babe. Then Bree will photograph you with direction from Ally. There will be many laughs. The whole process should take an hour and a half, but set aside two hours just in case.
What will you do with the images?
The images will be used on the Made You Blush website, social media accounts, and other marketing collateral. With your permission, Lady Scout and Bree would also love to use some of the images our their websites/social media accounts in order to talk about this project. Bree will email you an online model release after the shoot for you to sign. If you change your mind after the shoot, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
What's in it for me?
In addition to spending at hour being pampered by Julz, our subjects will receive:
A Dropbox folder (or similar) containing at least 5 jpeg images (photographer selected) from your session. Images will be professionally retouched and processed in colour and black and white. Image will be sized for printing (up to 8x12inches) and web-sharing. Images will be delivered approximately 2 weeks post session.
How can I prepare for the shoot?
We're glad you asked! Here are some things that would help your session to run smoothly:
- Please get a good night's sleep and don't drink alcohol the night before. It's a bit of a drag, but no-one looks good with red eyes.
- Make sure you are looking generally 'well-groomed'. For ladies in particular, make sure your eyebrows are tidy and your hair is free from roots.
- Don't wear makeup or put styling products in your hair the day of the shoot. It doesn't necessarily matter if your hair is freshly washed or not, just do whatever you find that makes it easier to style.
- For the images that we will use on the Made You Blush site, we will provide you with a plain white singlet, but please bring another top that you would like to be photographed in so that we can get a couple of headshots for you to use in a professional capacity.
Any questions? Contact Bree and Ally here. We look forward to meeting you!
